2nd Assessment - UKG-D

On Saturday the 14th, i got the result of my 2nd assessment of UKG... i got all A+, including the classroom behavioral and learning!!! Last time i had A's in the classroom - so improvement you see ;-)

Teachers were also happy and said that i've started working independently. I was the first ones to finish the assessments - 10 to 15 minutes max!!!

Amma baba 1st letter to me!!!

I got my 1st letter from Amma and baba today and was very excited... papa read the letter for me and i was very happy.... as papa finished reading, i asked him to turn the page and it was all blank... to that i innocently asked papa - "why didnt baba write on the back side?" :-)))) ye dil maange more and more !!!! :-))

First letter to Sweetu!!!

I got my first letter today from Nani n Naanu... this is in reponse to my Dwali letter to them.... I'm also waiting on Amma Baba's letter :))

Children's Day fun!!!

Today I participated in the Children's Day sunflower making competition in the school. We all were given the task of making a 35cm diameter sunflower.

Mommy, daddy and I put in lots of effort over a period of 2 days and it really came out good.

The icing on the cake was that I WON the competition and got the certificate from the Principal's office!!!! Yippie!! I was so very excited and couldnt wait to reach back home and show it to mommy.... very very happy!!! :-) :-)

My first assessment; got A+!!!

Today I got the result of my first assessment of UKG in India... Mommy and daddy were skeptical as to how will I perform... They met my class teacher - Ms Yogini ma'am and also Ms Ananya ma'am before the assessments to know if I'm all set for the tests :))

I got 100% in all the subjects and the teachers were very happy and so we're mommy n daddy... 

One thing which my teachers never forget to point is that how much I love to talk...hehehe...but having said that they also mention that I understand the concepts they teach in the class and am very obedient :))

As a prize I demanded water colors from mommy n daddy and promptly got it... Yippie...I am so happy that I got A+!!!

Twists and Turns of 2013....

The year of 2013 is turning out to be a tale of twists and turns and new adventures...... first, papa's visa was to be extended which was taking a hell lot of time, my memorable birthday celebration at Chuck-e-Cheese happened midst of that uncertainty, then our visa finally got rejected and we starting packing/shipping stuff for India and landed India on 14th April 2013.

Now we are in India and I’m loving it specially because I’m having so much fun with amma-baba, nani-nanu, all my cousins, taiji-tauji and mausi-mausaji etc etc J

No doubt that I miss my friends and school in US, but I’m liking it here too. But yes at times I crave for US too J

The bad thing which has happened is that daddy had to go to Bhubaneswar leaving mommy and me in Lucknow. I miss him very much. But he tells me that its for good and we’ll be together again soon.

And you know what, I lost my first tooth too on April 5th!!!! Yes, tooth-fairy came and took away my tooth and now I’m keeping that as my first treasure J Yoohooo!!!

It’s a known thing that I’m pretty naughty and mommy-daddy thinks that I need some activity to keep myself engaged. So I’m learning Contemporary dance in Planet Salsa, Lucknow where I’m making new friends too!!

So abhi to itna hi hai… baaki sab masti (yes, u got it right, I’m learning a lot of Hindi too!!!)

Hoopla Dance.... the beginning....

This is an art that I'm trying to pick up. I saw it for the first time in the award ceremony of Kumon's school. I was so so glued to the 2 girls who performed on the function and wanted to do it myself.

Then one day while roaming around in Walmart I saw the holla-loop and there i go. "I want it...I want it..."

So mommy and daddy got it for me and beginning that day I started practicing whenever I got a chance.... slowly n slowly I was able to pick it up....
