Time for a change...

It looks like I'm ready for a incy wincy change... its been a while since I've started going to washroom on my own, even flush and turn-off the lights after I'm done... In school too, I always tell my teacher that I want to go to washroom... so my teacher told papa that I'm ready to come to school without a diaper!!! So since last 3 days, I'm going to school without any diaper... Isn't it good? :-)

It has been very long since we wrote on dear Sweetu's blog last.Actually during this period we have been busy with various things and starting Dec.2010 also went to a number of places.First we were off to Bangalore,then to Delhi in Jan.2011 followed by Ahmedabad/Somnath and Jaipur in March/April for about a month.It really has been quite hectic.

In the meantime our dear Sweetu has completed three years.She is now getting smarter and naughty.She is told to be keeping well, barring some bouts of cough&cold,presently eating reasonably satisfactorily and therefore regularly going to school.She is also puting quite an effort at picking up dance steps and movements,obviously under expert guidance of her mom & dad.Her accent is also gettig that typical American touch-emphatic & authoritative.

Dear Sweetu,

How are you?We have not been able to see your new bed.Did you like it?Let us know about it.So are you sleeping separately on it?We saw your latest shots in lehnga.You were looking pretty in it.

We hope you are now no longer fighting with your friends in school.

I'm loving it....

I'm enjoying reading books a lot these days... papa brought couple of books from the library near to our home in Covina and gave it to me... he was fearful that I'll tear all the books, but to everyone's surprise I'm loving reading the books... papa and mumma read me the books while I anxiously browse through the pictures on the pages.... my favorite ones are 'Where is the green sheep' by Mem Fox, 'ten Tiny Tickles' by Karen Katz and 'Silly Suzy Goose' by Petr Horacek.... we have gone through these books so many times that now as soon as papa or mumma turns the page I know what's coming next... :) I've also started reading along with them.....

While going to bed or having my milk or lunch and dinner, I read books all the time :) I think mumma and papa have found yet another way to make me eat the food... haha... good job :)

My new bed!!!

Yes, you read it right....i got my own bed....yooohooo..!!!!! Its a Pooh-the-Winnie bed and though mumma and papa were a bit skeptical that I might not sleep on it... but i've left them surprised; I like to sleep on the bed soooo muchhhhhhhhhh :-)

Picnic

It was a fun-filled day... we went to Frank G Bonelli park today where there was papa's official party.... there was a huge gathering and most of my friends were also present with their mummy papa.. Avika, Aahan, Gutto, Jiya, Adi - all were there... there were so many slides and swings in the park... i was so thrilled and just remained on the kids area... mumma and papa almost left me attended there on the swings and the slides and i was also happy with their decision :) :)

I also played football with my friends and ran though the length & bredth of the park... i even ate my lunch while swinging !!!!!

We came at around 12 o clock and started back at 5... in those five hours i simply kept on runnng, sliding, swinging and more sliding... when mumma an papa asked me whether we shud go back, I started crying...eventually papa forcefully lifted me up and put me in the car seat :( I was so sad and was crying too... even after 5 hours of fun, i wanted more and more.... as usual i was fast alseep in the car within 5 minutes :-0

So much fun; but still less....

On this Saturday I got a chance to web chat with naani, naanu, mausi, Raju mama, Sheena mami, Gudiya didi, Mamas bhaiya, Akshi bhaiya and also Cutoo :)

At first I was so puzzled and just kept looking at them... i didnt say a single word... but then slowly and slowly i started recognizing all of them... I was seeing them after so long... bahut mazaa aane vaala tha...

But the sad part was that as I started having fun with them, network ka kuch problem hua and then naanu ko laptop bhi hang ho gaya... :(

Chalo koi nahi... we will connect soon again.... take care..

Not too well, but yet excited...

Yeah, I've been having cough and cold for quite sometime now... mummy and papa have now got my complete check-up done - poop/pee/blood test/allergen test... so within few days we will get the report to know as to what is troubling me...

But having said that don't think that I'm any less on energy; I don't waste a single minute where I can have fun or where I can create troble for mumma and papa :) Moreover my birthday is also comin along; so energy level is bound to go up manifold.. hehe

My 2nd movie in theatre...

Today I went to watch the second movie of my life at theatre which was 'Patiala House'.. the first one was 'Ghajini'...
The difference between the two was that in the first one I slept for the whole time (after all I was not even 1) and in this one I was playing all the time :) I kept on roaming here and there in the theatre, going up and down the stairs... and you know what, I made a new friend too, Soham, and helped him finish his pop-corns too... hehe...

I hope mumma and papa take me more to the theatre :) :)

My first "fish"

Today for the first time I was able to put the basketball in the ring... papa told me the trick and I did the "fish" (phish) thing :) Obviously papa was not able to capture that moment, but tried a lot with me to do it again while he stood apart holding the camera... but alas, no luck.. actually I got diverted by the camera :P

I'm not well :(

Since Thursday I'm down with cough, cold and fever... fever went as high as 103!! I cudn't even sleep properly at night on Thursday; mumma papa bhi poori raat jage rahe :( Sinece fever was not coming down easily, mumma was putting wet cloth on my forehead and palms... Papa ko Friday office bhi jaana tha... he took half day leave and took me to the doctor (Dr Priti Desai).. she examined me and told that its bacterial infection....most of my friends are down with same kind of fever; weather is changing so much na...

Today (Saturday) I'm much better and I'm eating properly too... Monday ko I want to attend the school and meet my friends :) I want to swing and slide :-)

Finally I was able to chat with amma and baba... it was great to see them after such a long time... maine sab sab suna diya amma baba ko - counting, abcd, jonny jonny, twinkle twinkle... sab sab suna diya :)
I love to talk to everyone - be it over the phone or through web chat.... web chat is obviously better because mein sab ko dekh paati hoon... phone pe to bas aawaaz hi aati hai na!!!

Nu Sit Up

Has anyone any idea what is "NU SIT UP"????
Its my style of saying "You Shut Up"..... this I've learnt from my friends in school.... but my mumma papa are playing smart with me... they have correlated this to "You do sit ups"... whenever I say "NU Sit Up", they ask me to do sit-ups which I very gladly do :) :)

Nandini(our little darling Sweetu) is our charming sweet granddaughter whom we fondly love.She wil soon be turning three as we appraoch March,2011.

We have spent quite some time with her at Lucknow,where we reside and Bhubaneswar,where her Papa was serving.She is very playful and had a rocking time riding her bicycle in the house porch and colony lanes at Bhubaneswar and always refused to call it a day.Her calling us for 'baith jao' in style and slanting her head sideways in utter satisfaction as soon as it was complied with,is often remembered.

Her not eating properly is very worrisome to us but are glad to know that it is improving.Hurray!

Eat well so that you remain healthy. Be a good girl.Do not beat classmates, instead make friends with them.

Mummy and papa gave me a Beauty Set as a gift which had bangles, phone, rings, purse, lipstick, sandles!!! I was so very thrilled and started jumping as soon as saw the pack :) I was so bored with all my old toys, now I've a new one.... yooohooo :))

Complaint from School

Today mummy and papa came to my school (Little Gems) and saw me singing rhymes and playing with my friends... actually they came to school because papa got two consecutive complaints about me hiting the kids :( :( They  wanted to make sure that they dont get a 3rd one in a row :)

Mummy and papa waise kuch jyaada hi load le liye... hum bachhe to aisa karte hirehte hain ;) kabhi kushi kabhi gam... hehehe

On Mama's Birthday !!!

I called up Mama today to wish him on his birthday... Mama was so excited to hear me wish him as I'm still so young. Every time I see any picture of my Mama, I say ... "Mama Kahan Gayi" with a unique plam action of mine...I think, that is why Mama has his blog name also the same. Mama visited us in Oct-Nov 2010 in US. We were all so exited and has a lot of fun. I used to play around with my Mama a lot and he also loves to do the same.
Papa has done a wonderful thing starting this blog....now I would know all my childhood history day by day and activity by activity. Good Job Dad !!

2011 New year bash.....

"Happy Nu year" - thats how you wish all the people whenever we ask you to say "Happy New Year"... we all had a great time celebrating the new year at Haldi Root... you enjoyed it thoroughly specially dancing on the tunes of the DJ... moreso, you even danced with the belly dancers who were performing out there :) your moves were not an inch less than theirs!!
And you know, you wanted to dance more, but were damn tired and hence started crying :) When we started back for home, you slept in less than a minute in the car seat....
